Art Projects Using Recycled Materials

Fabric Lunch Boxes

Materials:
Old clothes or other fabric
Scissors
Needle
Thread
Buttons
Decorations

Directions:
Cut the old clothes or fabric to the desired size. Once finished, sew the sides of the bag together with a tight basic running stitch. At the top of the bag, make a very small hole. Reinforce the hole with thread. This will be the buttonhole to fasten the top. On the other side, sew a button on. This will seal the top. Decorate as desired.
 

Flower Pots

Materials:
Plastic bottles
Paint
Paintbrushes
Scissors

Directions:
Cut the plastic bottles to desired size for pot. Paint and decorate freely. Once the paint is dry, plant any type of small flower or tree.
