
I've just returned from a two-week trip to Israel with my family. It was wonderful and yet it brought up a lot of complicated feelings. I've written a dvar-Torah for Shemot which compares "There arose a Pharoah who knew not Joseph" to the demise of the kibbutz movement as we know it.
