
By now many of you have received previous notices by e-mail or visited our web page regarding JRF's Congregation-Based Community Organizing initiative. Central to this effort is our participation in the Jewish Funds for Justice national training taking place in Santa Clara, February 11-13, 2006.
I will be participating along with JRF CBCO intern Brian Fink, Rabbi Toba Spitzer (Dorshei Tzedek, Newton,MA), Rabbi Elliot Tepperman (Bnai Keshet, Montclair, NJ), Rabbi Brant Rosen (JRC, Evenston, IL), Rabbi Mordechai Liebling, Devorah Servi (JRF Western region), and representatives from:
This study and training event is open to clergy, lay leaders, activists, organizers and educators.
To prepare for the conference we are holding an open conference call for registrants and interested parties who cannot make the conference. For registrants, we will meet during the conference and hold a follow-up call afterwards as well.
